Villa del Balbianello wedding
Lake Como is the ideal destination for newlyweds coming from all over the world, many choose to celebrate their wedding at Villa del Balbianello. The Villa is A Franciscan monastery existed on the tip of the peninsula of Dosso d’Avedo since the 13th century. Owned by FAI, Italian Fund for the Environment Villa del Balbianello is visited by thousands of tourists every year. The location is easily reachable from Lenno, Tremezzo, Bellagio, Varenna and all the major attractions of the lake. A wedding at Villa del Balbianello is a wonderful experience. It is the destination of thousands of tourists who visit it every year and has a strategic position to admire the lake. I know the location well and it is always a pleasure photographing on the Como Lake.
Wedding couple photo session
Jennifer and Ryan have reached Italy from Australia. They have chosen Italy to celebrate their wedding and me as their Villa del Balbianello wedding photographer. I have been photographing weddings at Villa del Balbianello for many years and the light in this corner of the lake is wonderful. Water and mountains full of vegetation make this place unique. It is necessary to plan the couple’s photo session on the lake just before sunset. The wedding was celebrated an afternoon of late summer when the autumn colors begin to manifest, warm sun and the autumn red made their photographic session unique. We could evaluate together the best time to enjoy the places and the wonderful light. After the elopement session, it was possible to visit the lake by boat and photograph the couple during the golden hour.
